North Las Vegas Alliance of Homeowners Association and Concerned Citizens Candidate Meet and Greet had a huge turnout.
What do you think about the Las Vegas Police Department’s staffing levels? What do you plan to do about speeding and drunken driving? How can we stop so many pot dispensaries from opening up? What do you plan to do about the county’s homeless population? What would you do to ensure that every single police officer is trained to deal with mental health issues?
Those questions where just a sample of the many questions home owners wanted answered.
I would like to thank the North Las Vegas Alliance of Homeowners Association and Concerned Citizens for inviting me to participate in an evening that was especially designed to give voters an opportunity to meet and communicate with candidates so they might have answers to their questions and an opportunity to voice their concerns.
For the last few years the North Las Vegas Alliance of Homeowners Association and Concerned Citizens has offered in conjunction with the Sun City Aliante Homeowner Association an opportunity for North Las Vegas residents to meet candidates running in local, state and national races in the primary election. This year was no exception. They invited Tim Bedwell to meet with local residents to discuss their goals and listen to the concerns of voters.
I’ll say one more time, It was a great opportunity to answer their questions and address their concerns on safety and security in their community. Public Safety should be a priority in all communities but especially in communities where our parents and grandparents make their home.
Again,Thank you Sun City Aliante and the North Las Vegas Alliance of Homeowner Associations and Concerned Citizens for hosting a Candidate meet and greet. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the community members of Sun City and residents of the Homeowners Alliance.
